What is DAZOMET ?
The pure product is white needle shaped crystals, odorless, with a temperature of 99.5 ℃ (decomposition) (104-105 ℃).The vapor pressure is 400 × 10-6Pa. Easy to dissolve in acetone and chloroform; Slightly soluble in ethanol and benzene; Difficult to dissolve in Chemicalbook ether and carbon tetrachloride; At 25 ℃, the solubility in water is 0.12%, and the solubility slightly increases in warm water. It is easy to decompose in aqueous solution, and decomposition accelerates at temperatures above 45 ℃, which affects the effectiveness of the drug; It is prone to decomposition when exposed to strong acids or alkalis.
